Fairly easy to assemble. A few holes are not pre-drilled and there are a few tiny splinter areas, but for the price I'm not complaining! Sturdy enough for two adults so far; wood is sturdy so at least three adults are probably fine (if 300# each). Put together in the house, but will move to patio. As advertised. Used a level for the short bench support beams. Happy customer!

I love this table/bench. Love the fact that you can use this for seating when a table is not required. It’s on our deck. I put outdoor pillows on the bench and I can easily transfer the bench to a table without assistance. (I’m 5’3” about 150 lbs). I initially bought it for our grandchildren to use in eating outside as well as sitting on the bench, but find that the adults use it as much. It is only comfortable for four, max. The weight limit is 500 lbs. it suits our family more than I could have predicted. Definitely give this five stars.

This is a beautiful bench, which is why I give it four stars. Even the assembly is easy (if you have someone helping you), with the exception of the bolts. Any hole that a bolt needs to go through will be recessed, but the bolt still will be barely long enough to get through. Because of this, it was extremely frustrating to try to get any of the nuts to actually get started on any of the bolts. I have pretty small fingertips, and I couldn't even get them in there to start to thread the nut on. One of the pieces was so frustrating, I had to take it to a shop and have the recess bored down about 1/8th"" deeper so I could get the nut to start threading onto the bolt.Keep in mind, the bolts were the only frustrating parts of the assembly. UPDATE: This table broke after less than 3 months use and so far the company has not responded to either of my emails. It's too bed because it was a nice table but too much money for such a small window of use.Original Review: This table arrived in perfect shape (I can't say the same for other furniture I've ordered from other places) and it went together in about an hour with only a bit of help needed from my 10 year old son. It's gorgeous and I'm VERY happy with the purchase. The only small issue I have is that the table top is very narrow - it is almost impossible for two people to sit directly across each other and have enough room for their plates, so you have to sit staggered. love the way the table looks and works but the wood is crap and is easily dented and damaged. Feels like I'm going to crack the wood when i sit on it. I don't think its going to last long. The table I got had a few dents and scratches on it but the out side box was not damage so I'm thinking it was damage before it was put into the box, The top of the table is weak so I have to make sure i don't lean on it to get up. This should be two stars but I really like this table beside the crappy wood. I only had it for one day so I hope it last longer then I think.So on day two I found on the back of bench which is also the the bottom of the table a crack that has started from one of the screw hole out down the center of the wood. not looking good for this wood that I haven't even used yet cause …

This is SUCH a neat design!! The material seems to be of quality and easy to assemble. So so so so cool and super practical for porches. You know what else this would be perfect for? An outdoor wedding with a buffet. You can bench it for the ceremony and then easily unfold for the reception tables. BOOM! Genius idea. If anyone takes this idea, please let me know. Also, feel free to invite me. I prefer dark meat chicken as fish are friends, not food. The end.

I love this item. I had given one a few years ago as a gift, then I bought another one and gave as a gift to someone else. I decided it was time to have one of my own. It's absolutely wonderful for a small patio or deck. The first one I gave is on a large deck, but as a bench fits perfectly out of the way, but when needed becomes a picnic table that easily accomodates four adults. The umbrella hole already made in it is great too for those really sunny days. It goes together so easily and quickly. The directions say you need two adults at one point in the construction, but I put it together alone in my living room one Saturday afternoon watching television. Then easily moved it out the door onto the deck with no problem. I love this product and plan to give a couple more as gifts.

This was a great purchase. It was easy to put together (took less than 30 minutes) and easily transforms from a picnic table to a bench. We are using it for our rooftop deck and so far it's holding up really well even with the rain we've been having. We do plan on treating it just so it has some extra protection against the elements. It seats 4 comfortably and we're so impressed with the price and function that we plan to get another one.
