Will not make a small singing bowl Ring.
This is like one of those paddleball with the string attached. It is not a SILICONE ball which I do have and it makes a nice resonant sound on a 5 inch round and 5 inch deep bowl. That Bowl weighs about 1 and 1/2 pounds and costs more. I found the 4 Inch Tibetian Bowl with the wooden suede covered striker to be adequate. Thios will NOT make a singing bowl "Sing". It will bounce off the smaller 3 inch and 4 inch bowls so I cannot recommend it. To make a singing bowl "Sing" you need a suede covered wooded striker, not this.
