Nice case

Bought this case and left it until I was ready with the unit I repaired. Firstly I like that it is fully enclosed. However the issues I have is that the screen protector is not fully touching the screen(which I assume is a design choice to reduce air bubbles) but it made it odd and annoying to use for me.Secondly, the instructions for the finger print was not the best and had to make some adjustments for my use case.However for some reason, the made issue is that callers could not hear me well less I raised my voice. Just like the first, I made some adjustments to it which will impeded its water proofing some what.I will maybe change this case at some point but will use it until such time.

Easy to put on phone. Off brand charger cord was to thick to go past the case and into the phone. Official charger cord worked.

The instruction manual is unreadable. The print is too small and the color of the ink makes it hard to read. Also the print is not clean, so the letters are smudged. The fingerprint instructions are on separate instructions which need to be read first, but it is in the back of the stack of materials and easily missed. Once you get past the work of reading what is presented, the instructions are unclear. Once everthing is together, the fingerprint detector cannot detect the fingerprint. The cover over the screen is not flush, so it moves when you press and causes the touch to misdirect.

This case was definitely waterproof and it also had great drop protection. I couldn't get the finger print thing, they provided, to work but I made due with the password. The incorporated plastic screen protector was too thick though, and didn't conform to my phones screen. This left parts of the protector touching the screen and parts of it slightly lifted off. This made the screen extremely hard to read, though it did not seem to effect the touch capabilities. I ended up cutting the screen protector off of the case and replacing it with the regular adhesive kind. This obviously negated the waterproofing, and the case was not designed for this kind of protector, so it was constantly trying to lift it off the screen.Overall this case was not for me. I have tried many cases with and without screen protectors, tempered glass you name it. All have failed. Just the smallest tap on the corner would crack my phone. This case really has a perfect fit around the edges that protects just right should it fall ( which I have dropped already) and my phone is in perfect shape. I just fixed the screen prior to receiving this case so of course I was dreading the outcome of yet another case being a let down. But thankfully nothing happened and my phone is still in one piece. Another thing I like about this case is that it does not have that ugly round thumb print other cases and screen protectors do. So it keeps the phone looking sleek and delicate. I bought this case solely for the built in screen protector, and I'm in love! my last built in screen protector had holes in the top for the camera for my galaxy s8 and water would always get inside the case so I had to constantly take it off and wipe it off. This case doesn't have any holes so I'm grateful. I really like the how the case is sleek and not big and bulky. I only got this case a few days ago so I'm not sure how well it protects drops and such. I also like that it covers the charging port when not in use. The only thing I'm bummed about is the fingerprinting doesn't recognize my fingerprint with the case on. I used this brand/type of case for my old S8. It protected my phone from countless drops. I've only been using this updated version for a day, but so far, here is my feedback:1. Same durable coverage, I know my phone will be protected2. Tricky fingerprint scanner installation. You need to attach the sticky piece to the phone, insert into case, then press out any air bubbles. Took me 2 tries to get it right. Also had to add a second fingerprint with the case attached because it wouldn't read my first print.3. Typing text is a bit touchy. Some letters get missed, unless you're using the swipe option.4. A quick call to my mom showed that my voice was not muffled at all. This was an issue with a defective case for my last phone.5.
